HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY TEST CENTER
The Division of Adult and Career Education, High School Equivalency Test Center is located at Abram Friedman Occupational Center in Room 503.
8:00am - 4:00pm Monday thru Friday.
9:00 am – 3:00 pm Tuesday thru Thursday.
The CA State Board of Education has approved the HiSET® (High School Equivalency Test) and the TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) as tests to be used to earn a California High School Equivalency Certificate. The Los Angeles Unified School District is looking forward to begin testing eligible examinees soon.

Keep in mind these websites may not have specific information regarding testing in California yet.
If you are interested in taking the 2014 GED® or you need to request a transcript or certificate, please visit https://ged.com/
The LAUSD High School Equivalency Test Center has records of GED® exams given in the LAUSD area from 1945 to June 30, 1990 ONLY.
All other transcript and certificate requests must be processed by the ETS-GED® Record Center. They may be contacted at 866-370-4740, or click on the appropriate link below to print a Records Request form.
For additional questions contact the High School Equivalency Test Center at (213) 765-2573 between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday thru Friday. Walk ins welcomed Tuesday thru Thursday 9:00am – 3:00pm.
Registering for the Test
H.S.E. Testing will begin in October 2014.
Registration begins on Tuesday, September 16th.
Registration is on-going and available every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
The registration process takes about 30 minutes.

You must bring the following:
Your valid government issued identification.
$150 Test Fee (cash or money order only)
Your HiSET ® /E.T.S number. Visit www.HiSET.ETS.org and create an account to obtain yours.
Only potential examinees are allowed in the center during the registration process. Visitors accompanying examinees must wait in the cafeteria on the 3rd floor of the building.
