Pharmacy Technician 540 hours
Cohort Dates: (1/24/17 - 6/9/17) & (8/15/17 - 1/19/18)
Hours: M-F 8:00 am - 2:45 pm
Course Costs: $675 (class fee, student ID, insurance)
Additional Costs: Books, uniform, CPR Certificate, background & drug screening



Course Description:

This one semester course is designed to prepare students for employment in a pharmacy setting and to sit for the PTCB national certification exam.  Successful completion qualifies students to apply for a Pharmacy Technician license with the California State Board.



18 years or older - High School Diploma (foreign equivalent acceptable) or HiSET/GED - TABE Math 7.0 or Instructor approval.


The first step is to attend an Information Session and to take the Assessment

(Reading & Math test required to register)

(no appointment needed, all are welcome)

Fridays  @  12:00 pm

March 10th, April 21st, May 12th, May 26th, June 2nd & June 9th




Next Assessments offered in Counseling Office at Abram Friedman OC

Mon, Wed, Fri  @  8:30 am

Tu, Th  @  5:30 pm

Please arrive 20 minutes early for testing and it takes about 2 hours
